How do I protect myself from snakes when hiking through a jungle? i don't want to suprise one and get bit! |
Travel Info Is there any INEXPENSIVE way to be 100% protected from snakes. Sprays? Chaps? Wrap leather on my legs? What would you do to be safe and not worry about snakebites? You also have to be aware of any snakes in trees or high spots they could be. Leather boots and thick clothing doesnt hurt either. Others Wear thick clothing, especially on your pants. Always walk with a stick and move it around on the ground so you can sense where a snake is. Also, carry a first aid kit and some sprays. If you are hiking in an area with especially venomous snakes, I suggest you get some extra supplies and take some people along with you.
