Why do people get travel sick whats that all about?

Travel Tips
It is actually motion sickness. It is an upset in the fluid of the inner ear caused by motion or movement such as waves on the ocean, turbulent air when in a plane, or a winding road when driving.

This link gives lots of good information about it. Source(s): http://www.medicinenet.com/motion_sickne...

Other Travel Tips
Its all about confusion. You see when you are in the car your eyes see your moving but your body thinks your still. The brain keeps trying to tell the eyes thier making an error so the brain trys to get them to focus on somthing. The presure of this trying to get the eyes to focus on somthing imposible to focus on is why your head hurts. The eyes fight back responding that they cant focus cause your moving so the endless battle is quite painful.

If you have this problem I would dring nothing but ice water.
eat somthing lite like stawberrys. DONT eat ANYTHING with sugar and DONT drink the water fast.
It's more like a problem with a sensory organ of balance in the ear that causes people to suffer from travel sickness, although speaking from personal experience it's a sub-conscious dislike of what you are going to find at the end of the journey. When I was a child and got carted to the other side of town to visit my Grandmother, I was always sick on the way there, yet NEVER on the return journey!
Maybe its the take off or fear of flying.
