Can you drink water from an Air Conditioner? |
Travel Info I understand that the water from a home Air conditioning unit is distilled water. I wonder then if it is drinkable? Travel Tips I dunno! Why don't you do it and come back and tell me how it tastes? Others No.....for safety reasons. It's actually not bad. Try it. Taste like chicken. No, because air conditioners usually have large amounts of bacteria in them from the air and such during use, so the water that comes out is contaminated and should not be consumed. You certainly can! Should you? not if you're sane :-) if you are near an ac unit you should be thinking about huffing the freon and not drinking the distilled water. doh no |
