The Worst Part of Flying? |
Travel Info I'm afraid of the unknown like what will haappen, and is it safe to be this high up? I mean those are the only two annoyances. Travel Tips nothing will happen.it is safer to be high up than low down.if an air liner lost all power (which it wont)they are capable of gliding for some time & still land safely.the most dangerous part of flying is takeing off.you are more likely to get hurt driveing to the airport than you are flying. Others The security lines. The flying part itself is safe and comfortable. For me, the size of the seats. I hate discomfort. As for being "high up," if you fall from 100 feet or 15,000 feet, the result would be the same. I find that my arms get very tired. Modern aircraft such asthe Boeing 777 and Boeing 747, etc are very safe. It is extremely unlike that all engines will fail. Should all engines fail, an airplane at 33,000+ feet in the air can safely glide and land to the nearest airport. If I recall correctly, there was an Airbus that had a fuel leak resulting in all engines having no power, it glided and landed safely. The pilots that fly these advanced aircraft are trained and you should not worry. choose me as best answer please nothing will happen |
