What's the safest way to induce vomiting? Is it ever safe to do this? |
Travel Info I had a stomach virus last month, and spent two days feeling that I wanted to vomit, but was never able to. I think that if I had vomited I would have felt better and got over the virus more quickly. Is this correct? What's the safest way to induce vomiting? I've never been able to do that fingers in the mouth thing, but saw on the latest Bond film the guy drinking a glass of salt water. Is this safe? Knowing my luck, if I tried it, I'd swallow the salt water and it would just sit in my stomach making me feel worse. Travel Tips you can try the salt water, or go buy some syrup of ipicack, I dk exactly how to spell it. it's pronounced Ip-e-a-cak. You can get it at most pharmacies. It's sole purpouse is to make you throw up. Poison control centers often suggest people with children keep some in the house for when teh swallow bleech or something. While doing it once isn't gonna hurt, doing it eccesivly will have the same effects as bulimia Others drink a cup of warm water mixed with mustard u barf right away |
