I need to travel on business to India. Is it really as dangerous and unsanitized as I heard it is? |
Travel Info Anyone knows what kind of shots and drugs i oughta take with me? Travel Tips Depends on where in India you are going. Ask your doctor what shots are recommended for the region you'll be in - watch out for "Delhi Belly" though - it's the Indian version of Montezuma's Revenge! Drink bottled water and avoid ice cubes. Others I've never been to India and don't know anything about it.. but you might want to take some Pepto-Bismol and any other medications you might need (if you get allergies, or colds, take that medicine too). Aspirin is always good to have. Over-the-counter medicine is hard to come by in some countries... their system might be different than ours. You need to watch your handbag/wallet/briefcase. Never let it out of your sight. Toilets are horrors. Better have good holding power and avoid them completely till you get back to your hotel. Definitely take something for an icky tummy. If you are travelling from South America or Africa to India its compulsory to get a yellow fever shot before you land in India. They will quarantine you if you dont have it. not at all http://www.anewindia.com/incredibleindia... |
