Where can i get anti travel-sickness wristbands? |
Travel Info Where can i get anti travel-sickness wristbands? Travel Tips You should be able to get them in almost any of your local retail pharmacies (CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, Wal-mart, etc.). I work for CVS and I know that we sell the Sea Bands, which are wristbands that you have to wear on both wrists in order for them to work. Also, the Relief band is available, which looks almost like a wristwatch and allows electrical impulses to send a message to your brain to stop nausea. Both of these over the counter bands help by providing pressure through an accupuncture point on the back of your wrist. If you can't find any of the bands, there are pharmacological choices too, such as dramamine or benadryl, but it just depends on your personal preference. Good luck and I hope this helps! Others Any drug store should have them. Any drug store should carry them. They are called Sea Bands. They must be worn correctly for them to be effective. I got mine at sharper image. Its the best investment I ever made. Good luck! I got mine on Amazon.com. Be warned though they are not 100% effective for every single person. I have used them and still used them but if the sailing gets really rough (i live on a ship), they dont work all that well and i have to take a tablet called sturegon..sorry if the spelling is incorrect. Those tablets work for sure but they make u extremely sleepy! experience my mom made one. just get (kinda) tight elastic and put a bb under the elastic and put it on your wrist. it worked for me.hope it works. |
