Any cures for motion sickness? |
Travel Info I get it in the car, bus, plane, boats, rollercoasters....basically anything that moves and want to avoid from reoccuring. Travel Tips You can take ginger root, or eat ginger snaps cookies. Ginger is a motion sickness cure. The best one I've found is to go out and ride those things that make you sick. Before long you start to become used to it. I used to get airsick if the plane got into bumpy weather, then I started doing 100% travel for my work. After flying 6 times per week for a month, I realized I wasn't motion sick anymore. Others for boats...maybe u should take antiemetics (medication that prevents u from vomiting).. I think u should see an ENT doctor (ear, nose and throught = ENT)...to solve u're motion sickness.. Apart from the usual suggestions of ginger, etc. I'd also suggest a couple over the counter remedies - there's a bracelet/wristband you can wear that applies pressure to certain parts of your wrist that's supposed to help with naseau and upset stomach due to motion sickness, so that may help. Also, OTC meds like Dramamine may help with motion sickness as well. I wouldn't suggest going on whatever bugs you over and over until it doesn't. Certain things it's not a good idea to do so...namely, roller coasters. I get motion sickness and a REALLY bad headache from roller coasters, and while things like that are okay in moderation, I think too much of that whiplash back and forth actions could be very damaging to a person's equilibrium and physical well being. |
