How do I prevent getting airsick??? |
Travel Info How can I prevent it getting airsick? Travel Tips Buy some Bonine at the drugstore. Take one the day before your flight & one about an hour before liftoff. It won't make you drowsy like Dramamine can. Others Dont fly!!! take dramamine Stay on the ground.... what i would do is like get some ginger stuff and eat it before you go in the air. It always works for me. PLus you do not get Extremely tired from the ginger unlike Drammamine. I would eat crackers and keep hydrated. Also, I was seated next to a former pilot once on a plane and he could tell I was nervous about taking off and turbulence. He taught me a trick that would make the bumpiness better. He said, whenever there was turbulence, I should focus on an object directly in front of me about ten feet away, so the bumpiness wouldn't be so terrible visually. You can get dizzy and nauseated just through your vision. It works now when I get on a plane. Looking out the window might not always be so great. I prefer the aisle seat so I don't feel so closed in, and it's good just in case I need to get up for the bathroom. So I would recommend eating crackers or bread, using that little trick, and sitting in the aisle seat. |
