Are vaccinations for a trip to India mandatory or optional? |
Travel Info The company I work for may send me to India and I know that I'd need vaccinations to go there. However, I have very strong immune responses to vaccinations and am afraid of getting that many at a time. I know which ones are recommended by the CDC, but should I take my chances and not get them? Travel Tips I am not sure if they are mandatory or not, but you need to weigh your options, which would be worse having the reaction here in the US or getting some disease in India. I would definitely speak with your doctor about your options and then make and educated decision. Have a great trip! But once I saw those mangy dogs, I wished I'd gone for the Rabies too. Scary stuff. Get the vaccinations. My hubby travels to India on business all the time and is glad he has had all of his shots. It isn't the same as here...plus, once you have the shots, you are good to go anywhere for years to come! Have fun. |
