Whyare plane crashes so deadly? |
Travel Info i know that maybe because you're flying downwards toward the ground so fast, the impact kills you? and has anyone on here ever survived one. if so, what does it feel like to be going down and thinking ur about to crash? Travel Tips The reason plane crashes are so deadly is because...well..it's kind of self-explanitory. Others i have and it sucks Seriously, go to airdisaster.com and check it out. Plane crash pictures, videos, you can even listen to cockpit voice recorders and hear the pilots last words. I fly all the time and HATE IT. It isnt death that scares me, its (like you said) the 5 minutes you have when people are freaking out and you know you're going to die. For me it's a control thing. Anyway, I think you know the answer. 150 miles per hour + 35,000 feet in the air + 5 tons of plane, people, fuel and cargo + pilot error/malfunction = no survivors. Thats it. HAPPY FLYING....... The truth is that there are survivors in 90% of all plane crashes. Travelling by plane is the safest possible way of travel. It can even be safer to fly than walking around at home (more people die from accidents in their home than in car crashes). The reason is simply that you are sitting down with a seatbelt in the airplane. Because when the plane is about to crash they tell you put your head between your knees so when the plane hits the ground it snaps your neck killing you istantly. Thats why you get some smart peopl who dont do that and walk away with broken bones and stuff but there still alive |
