Missing 737......part of tail found....is this a potential fault on these aircraft?

Travel Info
I am certain that there have been incidents in the past caused by tail fins failing, both on Boeing and Airbus planes.
The tail section, or at least part of it, of the 737 that simply disappeared on New Years Day, has now been found in the sea in Indonesia.
Does anyone else feel uneasy about the reliability of these new composite non-metal components being increasingly introduced in the maufacture of airliners?

Travel Tips
If you are referring to the crash in the Malaysia/ Indonesia area, the reason for the crash has not and will not be determined until the aircraft can be found. While there have been incidents in the past where tail sections have come off, recent history shows these were from Aibus Industries. I do not know of an incident like this with a Boeing airplane but could be wrong. I have been flying for 40 years and been involved in 3 crashes/incidents. I crashed one at age 16, was shot down at 19 and in a mid air collision at 24. All things considered, flying is the safest way to travel.

Others
If there was a crash then it is not surprising that a part of the tail was found broken. Aircraft will shatter into lots of bits and the tail just happens to be the first bit that they found. Likewise they also found some seats but that isn't evidence that the seats failed.

What does happen is that bits fall off aircraft from time to time. Usually they are small bits and don't affect the flight too much. All aircraft are regularly tested to make sure that they aren't going to fail in a big way.
I don't think so. They need to investigate the incident into depths before placing blame. The little black box should give the investigator some hint as to what had happen. In this case, I believe it's both pilot and weather that cause the crash of the airplane. I don't believe that it was a construction or the use of a new composite non-metal components is a factor.
