Do motels (hotels, etc.) wash the blankets/comforters each time after a guest checks out?

Do motels (hotels, etc.) wash the blankets each time after a guest checks out? What about the comforters? If not, how often do they wash them?

Travel Tips
I supervised a cleaning crew years ago, the sheets are always washed in bleach water, the blankets only if visable dirt or on a schedule of monthly or quarterly. The comforter unless known to be dirty, only twice a year or quarterly.

The hotel was a comfort inn.
Every hotel has its own schedule, but money is made by turning over rooms fast so workers are not cutting into profit and extra washing is cost as is replacing comforters that look old because they were wash too many times.
I never sit on comforters, I always pull back the blankets and sit on the sheets, at that time you should be able to smell the bleach. And remember, chairs with cloth coverings are not cleaned or disinfected. Or Couches.
These conditions may change when you are staying at a four star or better, but not the regular middle chain hotles and I would even stay at the cheap places.

Others
Some do, most don't. The maids just make the beds and they'll wash them either after they appear dirty or 7 days has passed, which ever one first.
No they do not.
i don't know about all motels but i went to an interview at one and they showed me what i would be doing if i got the job and they did not wash them unles they could see that they were dirty . they would wash them once a week . the only thing they change is the bed sheets after each guest . i just talked to my mom who said that is how she did it when she did housekeeping for motels .
On some motels, they NEVER wash them, and they can get really gross....
Heck No. I always take the comforter off the bed when I go to a hotel.
It seems to me they rarely if ever wash them. It freaks me out and I remove them off the bed and dont even like to sit on them. Anyway most use the slippery nylon kind and you or your things are forever sliding off them.
