Is am worried about pickpockets when I travel. Are there any secure money holders I can use?

Travel Info
I don't like carrying a bulky wallet, becuase it is obvious where it is. I have tried money belts to carry the larger sums of money and carry spending cash in my pocket, but the money belt also shows a bit too (ie. there's a visible rectangle over my stomach). I need something professional so I can't use wallet chains. Any other ideas or devices that have worked for people in the past?

Travel Tips
We're big fans of money belts. You could try wearing it in the back instead of the front..... as long as it's all tucked in under your clothes. We haven't gotten used to those neck pouches... and they show too. We've also found some travel clothes that have "hidden zippers" so you can spread things around. Nothings prefect, but it all helps. http://www.mousetourstravels.com/money.h...

The money belt is still the best bet. Guess you could also use an ankle belt which might be less noticable, but annoying
As far as possible, I think you want to avoid large amounts of cash. With some banks, you can withdraw your funds from more than one country (using an autoteller). (This can be done with HSBC.) There are the old fashioned travellers' cheques, but thieves would also consider them desirable.

Since you need something professional, I don't think you could roll up notes & put them where drug smugglers try to hide drugs.

Depending upon how big your thighs are, you could consider taping money to your legs. However, this makes (a) getting change out tricky, (b) you may have allergy problems with the tape, (c) airport security is going to have a field day with you!

I suppose there's always old fashioned underwear, with a pocket in it... Again, though, this makes getting change out tricky.
