Is Davao a safe city for foreigners to visit/live? |
Travel Info Is it true that the further a foreigner travels outside of Davao, the greater his/her chances are of being kidnapped for ransom? Is it true that cities such as: Cotobato, General Santos, Zamboanga are definately not safe for foreigners? Travel Tips It depends on the area. I think you'll be ok. Just DONT travel alone. Others Just as long as you are not American, then it's safe. Why have you heard of a missing foreigner from those town in the last 20 years? I havent!!! So go figure. I love my country, wrong assumption will not do her good. Only believe in them if you have proof If you don't know about the place you are going, don't go. It's better to choose a place that you can enjoy and feel good about returning home safely and healthy. Even then there's a risk. |
