How safe is it for an american to travel to Italy? |
Travel Info How safe is it for an american to travel to Italy? Travel Tips very safe Others its safer now then it has ever been in the past but i wouldnt fly after 9/11 dont take any snakes (snakes on a plane) Safer than traveling in the U.S. you are completely safe. It's safe, but depends on American who travel. It is safe as long as you are sensible. Carry your money and passport in some kind of body belt. Keep numbers of passport and a second card or traveler's cheques somewhere separate. Just because you are on holiday don't do things you wouldn't do at home, like walk in poorly lit areas at night. This is advice I would give for anywhere. we've been to Italy and had a wonderful time, the people are friendly, the food delicious and the driving appalling! Tourists are the main target of pickpockets. But Italy is 4 times safer than US with regard to violent crimes (murder, assault, rape, etc.)* Be cautious about Neaples anyway: don't try to react to thieves! |
