Others get some battery operated foot warmers There is an old saying that sounds crazy, but it works for a very good reason: "If your feet are cold, cover your head." Our head uses about 25% of our body's blood supply. If you are losing too much heat, your periperal circulation will be poorer. If you can retain heat in your head, there will be plenty to "go around" for the rest of your body, and your feet may stay warmer.
