Is there a way to tell if you are prone to seasickness?

Travel Info
I'm thinking about taking a cruise next year. I've never been on a cruise before. I've been on a boat lots of times, but not long enough and only in lakes, hardly the same effect as ocean waves. I have never been on a rollercoaster before, for FEAR of motion sickness, but I ride other things at festivals like the tilt-a-whirl, scrambler, ski lift, etc.. (I stay away from ANYTHING that goes upside down!) I've never gotten sick on a ride before, so I really have no reason to believe I have motion sickness, it's just that paranoia, however rollercoasters are not the same as the motion of ocean waves. Is there a way to "test" or predict whether or not I would feel sick on a cruise?

Travel Tips
they have stickers for behind your ears for that, i can't remember the drug, they're kind of like small nitro patches or anti smoking patches, small that go behind your ear, ask your dr for RX for them, you may get seasick if you get car sick, or get off balance with heights, or a mild rollercoaster Source(s): have fun!!!!
