Travel insurance for an instrument?

My son is travelling overseas and needs to insure an expensive instrument. Our homeowners policy does not cover it overseas except with a $200 premium. Our travel insurance only covers $500 of loss on a single item.

Any ideas of where to purchase this insurance?

You may need to check your insurance again. My daughter traveled extensively during high school and college and our homeowners insurance covered her instrument wherever she was.
