Air sickness? |
Travel Info Hi, I have read a few articles about air sickness. When I fly I usally get dizzy and nausea. Does anyone have any tips or things you have done that have helped with feeling better? Thanks Travel Tips you are having motion sickness. so i would go to your doctor and ask him or her about scopace. it is a prescription that should help with that. if your symptoms aren't too bad i would try an OTC (over-the-counter) product first. Source(s): http://www.motionsickness.net Other Travel Tips Well, I'm not the subject matter expert here, but I do have one little trick that could help you. I'm a Respiratory Therapist, and I frequently come across patients suffering from mild to moderate nausea (for a variety of reasons). One trick I picked up in ICU was that, often, gently inhaling the fumes from an alcohol wipe (the kind you find in first aid kits, and, of course, all over hospitals), will lessen the intensity of the nausea. Please, understand, I DO NOT know why this works, or what other medical variables could affect you, so, if you try this, it is on your own cognisance. :) (Did I butcher that last word?) Ask your local pharmacist to recommend one of the many motion sickness products that are available. |
