What law of motion (newton's) does seat belt safety have to do with??

Travel Tips
if one is too fat, the belt will break

Others
Newton's first law of motion. " An object at motion will remain at motion in the same dirction in a straight line unless acted upon by an unbalanced force."
my brain!!!
An object (this is you) in motion tends to remain so ( Meaning the car has brakes but you don't).
It is newtons seventh law. It states that without a seatbelt the last thing to go through your mind is your asshole.
Inertia
Newton's first law of motion...

inertia (沫n没r'sh蓹) , in physics, the resistance of a body to any alteration in its state of motion, i.e., the resistance of a body at rest to being set in motion or of a body in motion to any change of speed or change in direction of motion. Inertia is a property common to all matter. This property was first observed by Galileo and restated by Newton as his first law of motion, sometimes called the law of inertia. Newton's second law of motion states that the external force required to affect the motion of a body is proportional to that acceleration. The constant of proportionality is known as the mass, which is the numerical value of the inertia; the greater the inertia of a body, the less is its acceleration for a given applied force.

Seat belts are called inertia seat belts...when the car starts to slow down after the brakes have been applied, inertia sets in and locks the seat belt so that the person wearing it (hopefully) stays in the seat...
