How safe is boeing 737?

Travel Info
Will it explode in mid-air for short distance flight
Should engines brekdown are ther any support engines

Travel Tips
Extremely safe . It is the most used airliner in the world. It will not explode on long distances , nor medium nor short. Engine failures rarely if ever occur and the possibility of both engines failing is almost impossible. The aircraft is very capable of flying a long way one engine only and must be able to do so in order to meet FAA regs. including losing an engine on take off.
Ignoring the anti-capitalist rant of the person above me Boeing builds the best airplanes in the world and has since 1916.
Some legendary Boeing aircraft include
Bombers: B-17 , B-29 , B-47 B-52 some of which are still on active duty
The "Seven Series " of passenger jets
B-707 B-727 B-737 B-747 B-757 B-767 & B-777 great airlanes all and in the case of the B-707 and the B-747 aircraft that radically changed air travel .
Enjoy your flight

Oh, please! Far more people die in cars than in aircrafts. But yes, there are support engines. I don't remember if it's 1,2, or 3 back-up engines per 737, though.
My brother's a pilot.
I guess they are safe until some asssholess hyjack them and fly them into something.Never been up there dont think they should have been invented, they r one of the greediest inventions ever.

Your answer: The Boeing 737 is only as safe as anything else made by the cheapest means with the cheapest materials manufactured by the cheapest contractor using the cheapest quality control as close to the minimum requirements of the law as possible.
First of all - flying is without doubt the safest form of transport. Secondly, Boeing 737's is a fantastic aircraft and Boeing is of coutse one of the largest and best aircraft manufacturer. the safety of an aircraft is not really based on the aircraft itself - more about the airline flying it. Most airlines follow strict safety rules and regulations - others (very few) don't. Check the history of the airline at the link below
