What is the best way for your ears not to pop on a plane?? |
Travel Info I chew gum it doesn't help, and the next day while I'm on vacaction I get sick, because the pain is bad in my ears?? Travel Tips The best ways are to Chew gum, drink something, swallow, or yawning will alleviate the pressure. Another trick, mainly used for babies but if you're having a hard time, you can try it also: is to gently rub the neck from the chin down to the chest several times - this will cause a swallowing motion which will help with the ears popping. I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, please feel free to contact me. Source(s): Husband is a pilot Frequent world traveler (with 2 kids) http://360.yahoo.com/jamie_hassen... Other Travel Tips The only way I know of is to keep your mouth wide open when you feel your ears are about to pop. That is what I do. like the person above me said, swallowing is what works best for me, yawning rarely works in my case, and i've chewed gum and it doesn't help me either, so try swallowing next time! Suck and a baby bottle! or candy.... |
