Travel Info Is tap water save to drink in west Sussex, can you check if it is safe & improve its quality? Travel Tips Of course it's safe to drink - the water boards wouldn't be pumping it to you if it wasn't ! ! ! It's a different matter if your drinking water is drawn from a tank in the loft - if it is, get your drinking-water taps connected directly to the mains supply. Others Let the cold tap run for a bit before you get water to drink, it should be safe as it is, but you can improve it by using a jug water filter. All domestic tap water is "safe" to drink. But in some areas it tastes better than others. Get a water filter. It seems to make it taste better. Drink it and if you don't die then it's fine...... I wish my life was so dull that I contemplated such inane questions i have lived in west sussex for the last 17 years and i hasn't done me any harm..any harm ..anyhermfull to the little pixsies Sussex is actually one of the safest and best quality water areas in England so you shouldn't have any problems. If you want you can boil and filter it first. I work in Sussex and have drunk the water for years with no problems so far. Never done me any harm. Lived here all my life, and am 20 now. If you are worried, then use a water filter. |
