Sick or just overheated? |
Travel Info Im in a play at my school, and when we do this one scene in particular (FIDDLER ON THE ROOF- SUNRISE SUNSET) i get this weird feeling in my body. My throat drys up and i start to sweat and this tickling feeling in my throat happens. Is it that im gonna throw up, or is it just the stage lights getting me overheated? Travel Tips If it just happens in that one scene, it sounds like it's a case of nerves or anxiety about that particular scene. My hula teacher used to tell us when we were nervous before a show or competition that it's okay to have butterflies.....you just have to make them fly in the formation you want them to. Once you focus on making them fly in formation, you forget about why you're nervous at all! On a different note, what does this have to do with traveling? Others Overheating on stage is a common thing. That's probably what it is, maybe combined with a little stage fright. Ask your director about it, they may be able to tone things down or increase ventilation. Special Edition of Robin Williams on Broadway its just nerves. it sounds like a combination of hot lites and nerves. |
