Travel Info I am 46 i want to know if anyone around my age feels more unsafe now days more then they did in the 70-s? Travel Tips Absolutely! There are sooo many immoral, crazy, dangerous people out there these days. I was a teenager in the 70's, and even with Woodstock, the drugs, and everything else that was going on, I still felt safe to walk the streets. Nowadays, I am leery to walk through a parking lot, I watch where I park- never between 2 vans or trucks. I never let my guard down. Others I am 27 as not about in the 70-s but even i feel unsafe. I feel very intimidated my groups of young people In the 70's you were a teenager and therefore were invincible and going to live forever now you are in your 40's and know that is not true. It is more your prospective on life than the fact that you are more unsafe now than in the 70's. Risks are different but still there. |
