Good and Safe Apartments in Albuquerque, New Mexico (USA)? |
Travel Info I need to find an apartment (studio or one bedroom) for the summer because I'm doing an internship there. I'm not familiar with the area, although I am from New Mexico. I need a short lease (3 months), something furnished and safe, preferably with utilities included. (can afford rent up to $600/month) I've found a few places online, but I don't know how safe they actually are. Please answer only if you're actually from the area (it helps if it's from a student's perspective). Travel Tips don't live on main(it may be called central street) street. Suburbs like corrales and Rio rancho are pretty nice. Also anything close to the sandia mountains is nice(i think that would be the east side of Albuquerque). I haven't lived there since i was a kid, so things could have changed. There are alot of rough places to live there, so be careful when choosing. It may be best to get a motel until you go find something in person.
