What make of a car should be ideal for a mom with 3 kids with ages ranging fr 5,8,9? |
Travel Info i will be a first time buyer. thanks! Travel Tips I'd go for something bigger than a sedan, since the kids will be growing into it, and they have friends! (and sports teams, and club travels, etc...). I'd also go for something loaded with all the safety features possible within my price range. I'd look for standard ABS, and airbags all around. Considering all of this, look at Honda CRV or Toyota RAV4 ($25,000)--the RAV has seating up to 7, or Volvo XC90 ($40,000). If budget is an issue, then Honda Fit ($15,000) which has all these safety features and Honda quality at a low price, but in a few years it's going to feel a bit cramped as the kids grow. http://www.edmunds.com is a very user-friendly site to research by features, price, cost-to-own, safety, size, etc. Others Dodge Caravan Honda Accords are very handy, fuel efficient, and you can buy it at a decent price. It also lasts very long. My family has had our honda for about 15 years now and it still works.
