How do you recover from food poisioning and what exactly occures to make you get it? |
Travel Info my twin bother has just come back from os and he has some how managed to get food poisioning but has no idea how it happened as he claims that it hit him once he was on the way back to sydney from thailand after being there for 3 weeks . he said that while there he ate anything and everything and he was fine till he was an hour into the flight home. he seems to be getting a fever with it and no one seems to b able to tell me if i should keep him warm to sweat it out or cool him down to let it run it's course? Travel Tips How high is his fever? I had food poisoning once, and as far as I know you don't run a high fever, but you do sweat buckets (as this is one of your body's ways of getting rid of the poison). I'd take him to the doctor as this could be something more serious. Good luck, and I hoep he's ok! Others better go to doctor becoz we never know maybe other infections or virus has attack him It could just be food poisoning - if it lasts a day or two and goes away it's fine it will just run its course but if it lasts longer than that definitely go to a doctor - being in Thailand means he could have contracted something more serious |
