You know, I have been wondering that myself recently, what with all the suspicious Canadian deaths in Mexico over the last 12 months or so.

It is still a pretty safe place for Canadian travellers though...think about the number of tourists who go there, versus the number of health/safety issues we hear about. Having said that, however, I am not planning on visiting Mexico until they get their act together a bit more!

I don't get it. When you say "we" are you meaning that you are from Canada or Mexico or somewhere else.
Maybe they are traveling to Mexico because it's warm and they can???
