How can I avoid to feel ears clogging and ears strong pain when flying, mostly when the plane is landing.? |
Travel Info I have no no particular ear illness. Travel Tips Greetings, You can try chewing gum. The chewing and the swallowing will help ease the pressure that you feel in your ears as the cabin slowly depressurizes. Here some more tips... http://www.healthyontario.com/health_fea... I haven't been on a plane in years but my cousin told me to chew gum and I did, it worked....I could still feel some pressure but it was much better chewing the gum. Hope that helped! TCL Others I usually chew on a piece of gum during take off & landing. This seems to work for me. U can put some cotton in ur ear, it is preferable before flying and before landing also. It is something to block ears like some wear during rock concert when the music is too heavy or even while swimming ...sorry can't get the real word for it :-)) but just to stuff some cotton in ur ear'll do ... have your ears syringed clean, i suffered with the same problem and its caused by wax building up and not allowing the air pressure to equalise. had my ears syringed and now its not a problem. YAWN< YAWN< YAWN I can't express that enough.I know it sounds stupid, and ya may look a bit silly but trust me I fly almost weekly. if you want to give it a try, just try yawning after you hear the pilot say you're starting your decent.You'll notice that your hearing will improve. then just keep forcing yourself to do it every so often......at the end of the trip if you still can't hear right.......ONE big YAWN and wait a hour that's all it should take. But normally doing it during the landing has worked for me.....good luck....safe travels!!!! P.s. If you Yawn right now you'll see and hear the effect it has on your ears experience Hey all you have to do is chew gum and if you don't have any on you open your mouth as the plane is preparing for landing.
