Purse or pocket, while abroad...?

i am wanting to travel overseas to south asia. what is best to put ur money in a purse or in ur pocket, or just do what the 80's chicks and street walkers do and just put it in my bra? how about my passport? ya, it will fit in my bra, but, is there a better way?

If you are worried about pickpockets or thieves buy a money belt. These are worn inside of your clothes so noone can see them. There are two types. One you wear around you neck-down your shirt and the other goes around your waist under you pants. You keep the majority or you money in the money belt and about 20 dollars in your pocket for sodas, etc... I use these all the time when I go to Rome. They are comfortable and you forget you are wearing them. You can get them online or in most stores like walmart or target.

i would be a bit way about putting my passport in my pocket, maybe that's one for the bra! as for money, keep it in a zippered pocket that you can see all the time, or failing that, buy one of those severely LAME fannypacks, and tuck it under your shirt. enjoy your vacation!!!!!
When I travel around and have no place to put things I would use a fanny pack that straps around my body and is worn under my clothes.
I also use a money belt. I used think my passport was safe locked in my suite case in my hotel room but recently it got broken into and stuff stolen so I now would not go anywhere abroad without my money belt which holds my passport, extra cash and credit card/travel card.
When traveling in india, wife and I used money belt. Kept passport and money both in it. No problems.
