Should i take bottled water with me abroad? |
Travel Info i am going to india for a couple of days should i take bottled water with me or is the water there safe to drink Travel Tips Don't bring water, you can buy the same Evian in India. Others Absolutely take bottled water, do NOT drink the water there, even in the good hotels. If you want to enjoy your experience drink the bottled water. I don麓t think you should take bottled water...but be sure to only buy and drink that kind. most def.take bottle water with you. Remember that you cannot take liquids or gels on the plane. No matter where you are going you will be able to buy bottled water. The thing to be most careful of is Ice Cubes. A lot of bars in Asia will actaully make ice out of bottled water for drinks. You have to ask and also have them show the bottle. No, you shouldn't drink their tap water but, you shouldn't lug over bottled water from here either. My suggestion would be to purchase bottled water when you get there. Make sure that any bottle you purchase has an intact seal and you should be okay. Either that or invest in a good water purification system (you can get one from a camping supply store) that you can purify the water and bottle it yourself for travel. Happy travels! Even safe drinking water in other places can still be different than what you are used to, so bottled water from here is always a good idea. If you will be there for a while, then perhaps you can slowly get used to theirs and always boil it first until you get really used to it! No trip is fun inside the walls of a bathroom! Only a couple days? Take your own water! (Trust me! I learned this the hard way!!!) That's not too much to bring. And besides, you may not be able to find bottled water immediately. |
