IATA (International Air Travel Association) recommends not to fly after 6 months of pregnancy. While some airlines will allow you to board the plane after 6 months of pregnancy, other will ask you to have special permission from your doctor. Back in those days when we still had paper tickets, it is stated on the ticket.

It's generally safe to fly at any time during pregnancy. Each arline may have specific restrictions as to "how close" you can be to your due date before allowing you to fly but ultimately, check with your OBGYN for his/her opinions and advice.
