If fear of heights is agoraphobia, what is fear of speed? |

I believe that's called either velociphobia or speedophobia, though it may actually be more a case of amaxophobia (fear of riding in vehicles). There are a number of sites that list the known phobias, but the term "phobia" is correct for any such condition. Believe me my friend i have over a million points its Tachophobia: Fear of speed. Agoraphobia is not the fear of heights, it is the fear of going outside your comfort zone (usually your house). Do a google search on phobias and you are sure to find the correct name for your particular paranoia. |
