How can i get rid of car sickness? |
Travel Info we're going to arizona and we will be traveling to california by car. it will be about 4 hour drives and im kinda nervous because i get car sick very eaisly. we went to chicago this weekend and that was only an hour and a half drive and i had a horrible headache and i felt like i was going to throw up when we got there. is there anything i can do/take that will help me not ruin the trip for my family? Travel Tips Take motion sickness pills about a half hour before you start out. And take the other peoples advice of sitting in the front with the windows down. Also look straight ahead, looking out the side window can trigger the car sickness. Others MY SISTER HAS THE SAME PROBLEM. WHAT SHE DOES IS ROLL THE WINDOW DOWN THE FRESH AIR SEEMS TO HELP. SINCE IT'S SUCH A SHORT DRIVE DON'T GO TO SLEEP UNTIL YOU GET INTO THE CAR. SLEEP THE TRIP AWAY THAT WOULD DEFINITELY HELP. GOOD LUCK! It helps if you don't sit in the back seat. Also, if you do any reading, or even look at a map, it can affect you. The fresh air advice is good, too! try sicking your nose and mouth by the window and breath fresh air and try not sitting in the back . my mom pukes when she is seated in the back. hope its help full. my mom and me had car sickness . my case was worse 9 hours. more stops and the yallow stain wont get out of my dad's car . Try taking Dramamine(over the counter) motion sickness medicine, follow directions. Or you could try drinking Mint tea before you go and during the trip if needed. This is what I have done and now my daughter says it works great for her. Hope this helps, and you have a great trip. personal experience |
