I want to prevent motion sickness when I go with my friends to an amusement park, but what's the best way? |
Travel Info I don't like roller coasters because I get headaches and nauscious from the up and down and round and round. I want to enjoy them, but I dont want to take anything that'll make me sleepy like Dramamine. I've heard about armbands that people use on cruises to prevent motion sickness, but do they work? Travel Tips I don't know about armbands, but I believe it was proved on Mythbusters that ginger tablets prevent motion sickness. Either track down some kind of candy or fizzy drink with ginger root as the main ingredient, or get some of the actual pills if you can find them. Hope this helps! Others I CAN'T SWIM I DON'T GO TO THE BEACH YOU GET SICK DON;T GO TO THE PARK FOR RIDES Keep your eyes closed well i dont know if you can use this for the same thing but my mom uses a patch that goes behind her ear when she gets on planes but when she takes it off she gets sick....so i'm not sure if this helped you any or not. i tired!! :) I promise I don't believe in herbal remedies or anything, and I get as sick as a dog every year at the local carnival, but seriously, try ginger pills. It's bizarre, the year I took them was the only year I didn't feel a bit of motion sickness. You keep burping ginger all night, too. My sister says they really helped with her motion sickness in the car (while I'm driving, ha!) too. They're pretty cheap, too. |
