When wallking on a country road...? |
Travel Info Which side of the road is the appropriate side to walk on? Do you always hang right? I know that on country roads people pretty much walk where they want to, but I want to do it the right way. Thanks so much. Travel Tips While walking on a country road, you are supposed to walk on the left side of the road because cars drive on the right side of the road. If you walk on the left side of the road you will see the car coming in front of you and you can move over out of the way. If you walk on the right side of the road you might not hear the car behind you and the car might not see you and it wouldn't be a pretty picture. Others i believe u should do what ever u want, walk in the middle if u choose, just make sure a car isn't coming lol Always walk facing traffic. Walk facing the traffic. When the sun is going down be sure to know that sometimes cars can't see you when approaching you. Be careful and be cautious. |
