I'm going to Hobart for 11 days over Xmas - what are some good day trips in the surrounding area? |
Travel Info Cheers Taswegians! Travel Tips Tasmania is pretty small. You could see all of it in 8 days. The Tasman Peninsula is a pretty good trip from Hobart, but my favourite bits of Tassie are Strahan and the Gordon/Franklin River, and Cradle Mountain. Both are a bit far for a day trip. The Freycinet Peninsula and the beaches north from there is pretty good as well. A longish day trip, maybe. |
