What is the off-peak season for having an Alaskan cruise or a Hawaiian vacation? |
Travel Info My wife and myself is going on a budget and we have a week to see the sights. Travel Tips One week to see the sights? Alaska off-season is wintertime. Hawaii off-season is February & March -- the rainy season there. One week is never enough time to see Hawaii if you really want to enjoy it the proper way. There are a number of islands, so you need to read about them and decide which one you will have time to visit and what you want to see in that time. Others Do a Hawaiian cruise. It costs same-to-less than staying on one island, as your food is included. Plus, you can see more than one island during that time. You wouldn't think it was less expensive, but I've looked into it for myself, and it really is. Hawaii doesn't truly have an off-peak season but the rates are a bit cheaper between the middle of January and April (with the exception of any holiday weekends and Spring Break).
