Other Travel Tips The best... humm there are lots of them. I took a kayak up the Wailua river and hiked to a secluded waterfall on the island of Kauai. The Big Island has tons on the windward side. Hawaii is tropical you can find waterfalls on all of the islands. I just returned from Hawaii. I agree with answer number 1. I did the same kayaking to the waterfall. It was easy to do, the hiking to the falls was the most strenuous. Answer Number 2 also was something we did. Between the 2 you can't miss.
