Do they card in Hawaii? |
Travel Info Hey, I am going to Hawaii next month. I am on the verge of turning 21. I was just wondering how strict they are on carding? Yes, I know that it is in the United States, and that drinking under 21 is illegal. But, I also know that Hawaii is a destination that is aimed towards visitors, such as Mexico, where most don't care about your age. Are they at all leniant? Travel Tips Hawaii's legal drinking age is 21. In Mexico, the legal drinking age is 18. Bars will not risk losing their license, so your chances are slim. But you never know. Give it a shot, but don't get your hopes up. Others My wife and I just got back from there the first part of April and Yes they do card. It does all depend on where you go just like anywhere else. ok to set this straight carding means credit card fraud. All places ask for id & show them, if your birthday is this year than the year is ok just aslong they don't look at the month i used to get in the clubs doing that because most of the bouncers just look at the year & not the months, plus if you talk to them while they are doing it ask how the crowd is doing and stuff lol haha i i just got back a few days ago and my bday is may 24 so i was 20days shy. i dont drink anyway so i didnt really "try" but when i went to the luau i saw them card a bunch of people. they seem kinda strict but it could just be how old you look. also since my bday is this month if they dont look hard they can see may 1986 and assume im 21 theres probably plenty of people on the island that'll buy something for you tho if you ask...just watch ur drink at all times IS DA SKY BLUE? LOL! YES DEY CARD N YES MOST PLACES R STRICT. IT DONT MATTER WHERE DEY R FROM MEXICO OR AFRICA NO DRINKING UNDER 21 IN DA U.S.A.! OH HERE'S SUMTING U CAN HAVE "SEX ON DA BEACH" LOL! EH HAVE FUN N BE SAFE!! LIVE ALOHA!! Yes they do card there. I'm old enough to be your mother so I don't get carded anymore...lol They do have clubs there for people under the age of 21. The clubs here a very strict on underage drinking. I have watched people physically removed from clubs for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and for underage drinking. They do a lot of stings here in order to strip a club of its liquor license, so yes they take it very seriously. Do not try to use a fake ID either. The bouncers and bartenders are very wise to the look of out of state licenses, it is also a federal offense to try and use it and it can carry jail time and a hefty fine. Better to wait until you are of age. I would hate for you to have to explain to DOG why you need him to bail you out....LOL!!! |
