Resturants in Honolulu? |
Travel Info Ok. I have to do this project for s.s. I need to know the name of a nice resturaunt in Honolulu, Waikiki area. I need to know the price of a descent meal for one. Thanks if you can help. Travel Tips 3660 on the rise is a really nice restaurant. also there is Sam Choys right at the edge of Waikiki. A really nice dinner for two will probably cost you over a 100 bucks with drinks, but it is totally worth it. the food at both places are yum-o. Others the Duke has his own resturant in the main beach stretch of waikiki... cant really remember the name but im sure if you ask your hotel they can point you in the right direction. Good food, great scenery and good history of surfing at the eatery. just down the beach of the movie scree on the beach went there last year Hy's Steakhouse, at the doormat of Waikiki... http://hyshawaii.com/index.htm Or, here's another link of other Waikiki Restaurants: http://www.restauranteur.com/hi/oahu/wai... d.k. Steak House is also a good choice...exclusive to Hawaii, I think, as the owner/founder is a local resident. The Oceanarium Restaurant located in the Pacific Beach Hotel (Waikiki) is a really nice restaurant. It is located in the Oceanarium Tower. They have really good buffet breakfasts there, the price p.p. is around $16.00 They also have lunch and dinner there. It is located right across the street from Waikiki Beach. www.pacificbeachhotel.com/ocea... You got some good suggestions in previous posts. A few comments, though... 3660 on the Rise is nowhere near Waikiki, and Sam Choys is near, but not in, Waikiki. Both 3660 and Sam's are great restaurants, though. Hy's is a great steakhouse, but is in a terrible part of Waikiki. I would suggest Bali by the Sea (very expensive, very romantic), about $30-40 for entrees, more than $100 for two people. Also, Matteo's is an excellent and intimate Italian restaurant with great service, maybe $100 for two, you might get away with a bit less. These days, it seems the better restaurants are not in Waikiki anymore... Good luck! |
