Best places to eat in Kailua-Kona?

I will be visiting Kailua-Kona this week and I wanted to know if there were any places that offer inexpensive meals. Can be fast food, local food, etc. something under $10 a person.

Kona Mix Plate is the best inexpensive meal in West Hawaii, hands down. It's a plate lunch place with plate lunch ambience (think L&L), but the food is great. Lots of standard plate lunch dishes, but also some nice choices as well. On the pricer side, you have to have a drink and some pupus at Huggos. Go in the restaurant, not the outside "on the rocks" section. It has the most awesome setting literally right on the water in Kailua-Kona. Again, Huggos will set you back more than $10 per person, but it's worth having a couple of beers, some pupus, and watching the sunset. Then stop by Kona Mix Plate to get dinner! Enjoy! Aloha, Steve.

I'm visiting this week as well and took a trip in 2004 previously. There are a lot of little joints in Kona as well as some chains like Outback. Plenty of food options for $10 a person and under. I always find Hawaii is a great place to eat light.
There is little restaurant at the Mani Lani Resort in Kona, HI. The food is great for the cheap price.
