Travel Info What is the cheapest way to get to Hawaii? Who has the cheapest airfare? Travel Tips The cheapest way I have found to fly to the islands is to check with Expedia and find the lowest fare and then go directly to the website of the airline with the lowest Expedia price. Cheapest days of the week to travel are Mon. Tue. and Wed. usually, but take some time and check every day you can travel. Often times it is cheaper to book a flight to Honolulu and then purchase a ticket with Hawaiian Airlines or Aloha Airlines, their fares are $39 oneway and sometimes only $19 oneway. Do a little homework and you can save yourself a lot of money to do other things while there. Once it pulls up what's available, decide on which flight looks the best to you and then go directly to that airlines site and check out their price. Sometimes it's cheaper to get the ticket directly from the airline, sometimes it's not. Either way, you'll be able to look at all the airlines and see what works the best for you as far as time all on one site. Travel to Hawaii will be cheaper in our "winter" months so unless you absoultely have to be here at a certain time, I would suggest you come out between October and March (except around major holidays such as Christmas, New Year, or Thanksgiving where the price is going to be high no matter where you're going).
