The original people in Hawaii were the Hawaiians. Today, the Native peoples are a mixture of Hawaiian, Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, other Polynesian races, and some integrated white people. The mixture is mainly super great, and people are very accepting, happy, and look handsome, well mostly. There is a under lying current that can be triggered: outsiders trying to force they way in to certain Hawaiian cultural ways. Remember to be polite, smile, say thank you, and please. Oh yes, you will find long lasting relationships, relax, do what the locals do, and be humble.
