probably about 10 hours not including lay overs.
I know from Detroit Michigan, it takes around 10 hours. From Detroit Metro Airport to LAX, or Seattle, or San Fran and then on to Honolulu, it all depends.
Total time you will spend in the air will be right around 10 1/2 hours depending on whether your flying with or against the wind. When you fly with the wind it will take about 10 hours or sometimes a little less.
