Has anyone stayed at the Westin Resort and Spa in Maui? If so, recommend? |
Travel Info Has anyone stayed at the Westin Resort and Spa in Maui? If so, recommend? Travel Tips Yes, it is a very nice Resort, one of my favorites for Maui. Nice beach and pools. We had an ocean view room so the view was wonderful at sunset. Restaurants were ok, Most of the time I went into Lahaina for a good restaurant, or tried the other resorts. Music plays very loud at night throughout the courtyard area so you can hear it in your room. You may find the music distracting and it can take away from quiet evenings. The spa was wonderful! Source(s): www.spavelous.com Other Travel Tips Yes - it has been awhile but it was quite nice - great pools, wonderful beach where you can take long walks. The location is marvelous, as long as you are ok with being at Kaanapali. In addition to all the features of the Westin, you're sandwiched (with plenty of room) in between a number of other high end places - gives you lots of choice. there's a great Hyatt next door with a fabulous Sunday brunch buffet. Yes- I stayed at the Westin about three times and I loved it. I highly recommend it. I stayed their with my friends for fun and someone's birthday. The pool is really great and the rooms are nice. The service is great too. Lots of things at the hotel to do and you can go to the pools at the other sister hotels too, so you get about five pools to swim at (I dunno if you are interested in that, but it is good in my eyes). You'll like it and it really has a family friendly atmosphere. It has been a while since I stayed there, but when I did it was great! There are not enough good words you can say about this resort. They have a seven acre rain forest, the biggest slide in Maui, activities going on constantly, shopping, a spa, restaurants, and are located right off of the beach. You should definitely stay at this resort! I've stayed at several of the resorts. All of them are soooo beautiful, and the staffs are outstanding. All have pools, gardens, some have clubs, others have catamaran whale watching. Top notch food too. But you'll pay...have fun. |
