Travel Info Can anyone suggest me some places to go for my honeymoon in or driving distanc eof L.A.? Travel Tips Try Universal Studios, Beverly Hills, Disneyland, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Santa Barbara, Tijuana, San Diego, downtown Pasadena, Santa Monica, Olvera Street, 3rd Street Promenade, Universal City Walk, ETC. There are so many places you can go to in LA. Be more specific as to what you want to do. Others Long Beach is awesome Laguna Beach. My sister got married there in October. It is very pretty and a great place to just hang out. Everytime someone says Laguna Beach... the mtv show usually pops into your head. Don't base your decision on the show. I think its about an hour to an hour 1/2 away from LA. Great place to relax and have fun!!! Good Luckk!!! Honeymooning in Hawaii is always nice.....but alas, it's not within driving distance of Los Angeles. Congratulations! Getting out of LA is probably a real good Idea. There are some great hotels and B&b's down in Laguna Beach. The town is picturesce and the beaches are great. There are many great restaruants withing walking distance of main beach. I reccomend Partners Bistro for great food. Probably one of my favorite places to eat in the world. And if you like a little music try The Marine Room. A band called the Missles plays there thrusday night and sunday afternoon. They are great! Laguna is a great place to base from aswell. Your are withing an hours drive of many great attractions like Disney Land, Knotts Berry farm, As many beaches as you could imagine and the ports of Newport Beach and Dana Point. Both great places to visit and stay as well. have a great time!!! BTDT Spell check leaves something to be desired! go to san diego---stay in the gas lamp district (colege town with a ton of bars and clubs) go to the zoo, seaworld and wild animal park---take a boat out fishing and get some albacore, then go snorkeling or a boat cruise or u can go to tijuana and get some cheap shopping in |
