Moving To Hawaii?!?!?

I now live in a small rural town in Northern Missouri, and I am thinking about moving far away after I graduate from Northwest Missouri University in Maryville, Missouri. I was thinking about moving to Hawaii, since I visited there last summer and it seemed like there was always things going on and it seemed to me that there would be a job always open. I know i cant make a living off of this but just for a few years and enjoy myself while I'm still young, but i could find work over there. People who live in hawaii does this sound like a good idea or should i just stay here in the states? thanks

It is very expensive to live here, the gas and food prices are EXTREMELY high. And so is the property. It is hard to find a job, but in time, I bet you could find a decent one. It would help if you say what island you would move to, cause they are all different. Its a big transition, but if you think you can handle it, go ahead! ^_^ Source(s): I live there!

I grew up in Kansas City, Mo. Then I moved to Hawaii... got a job...met my wife...got married.....

It's a big leap from KC to Honolulu, but life is about exploring the world around you, learning and growing along the way.

It's definitely alot more expensive to live in Hawaii, and you may move to Honolulu and find your destiny. Or you may move and get "island fever" and urge to drive somewhere...which you can't really do except around an island.

Decide what's your next step is and plan around it. It worked out for me and others (and you can check out the latest Fortune magazine on Best Places to Retire).
